The City of Blairsville operates the Blairsville Municipal Airport (a FAA Level III airport) located in Union County approximately 2.5 miles outside of the city limits at 240 Airport Road.
The current airport runway is 100' wide and 5000' long and can accommodate most general aviation airplanes, including single engines, twins, small jets, Citations, and lear jets. Blairsville Municipal Airport has hangars as well as tie-down services and offers 100 low -lead gasoline. The Airport also offers jet "A" fuel to its customers.
The Airport staff is available seven days a week to provide air commuters with auto rental assistance and lodging accommodation information.
