On behalf of the City of Blairsville, I welcome you to Blairsville! I hope you enjoy and appreciate the unique, small town experience that has shaped a solid sense of community for our citizens. Though the beauty of the North Georgia Mountains alone is enough to take one's breathe away, Blairsville augments this natural resource by continually improving and enhancing the community.

Our Vision: Where Every Step Leads to Something Good. Honoring our Past; Building our Future; Connecting our community.

Our Mission: Rooted in our mountain heritage, our mission is to build a thriving, year-round community through sustainable investment, thoughtful growth and ordinances, and strong county and community partnerships. We are committed to shaping a beautiful, walkable, and connected town where local families can live, work, and thrive, economic vitality is strengthened, and visitors feel welcome in every season.

Our Values: 1. Stewardship - We protect our natural environment, historic character, and community resources for future generations. 2. Community First - We make decisions that strengthen the infrastructure, well-being, connection, and quality of life of the people who live here. 3. Sustainable Growth - We pursue thoughtful, balanced development that preserves what makes our town unique while supporting long-term economic vitality.            4. Collaboration - We work together—across departments, with the county, and with residents—to achieve shared goals. 5. Welcoming Spirit - We create a friendly, and accessible town that serves locals year-round and invites visitors to stay and play.

Our staff is available to answer any questions you may have and we can provide directions and maps if needed. City services are provided through six separate departments, with 28 full-time employees.

City Administration, located in City Hall, offers a wide variety of services to city residents, including city employment, occupational tax licenses, water and sewer administration services (including connection and disconnection), new meter requests, and property tax billing. City administration also handles all the finances of the city, including accounts receivables, payables and payroll.

Whether you plan to live and work in Blairsville or you are here for a visit, we welcome you. For more information about any of the services listed above or for general information, please call (706) 745-2000. The City of Blairsville welcomes the chance to serve you.
